Panzeri: year-end report and 2019 advances
21/12/2018After a successful 2018, the focus is now on the next edition of Euroluce.
In 2018 Panzeri launched six new products on the market which were presented with the Sfere Rotazioni Ritorni catalog. It is a catalog which is new because of its contents and its completely renewed style of communicating information about the products to the public. Participation in the most famous trade fairs such as Light + Building was an important opportunity for exchange as expected, and the company won prestigious awards for its work this year.
AWARD WINNING PRODUCTS IN 2018
The AlDecimo and Viisi lamps received more than one token of appreciation in 2018. The wall lamp designed by Carmen Ferrara (AlDecimo) received the “Menzione d’Onore” (“Honourable Mention”) of the German Red Dot 2018 award. Furthermore, it was included in the ADI Design Index 2018 publication which is the first volume of the biennial cycle that collects pre-selected products for the Compasso d’Oro Award ADI 2020.
The hanging lamp by Minelli and Fossati designers (Viisi) was awarded one of the most famous design quality certificates in the world, the “Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018”.
AlDecimo and Viisi have also been selected as a “Winner” for the German Design Award 2019. The former has fascinated the jury especially for its simplicity and for the ingenuity of the concept of architectural integration, the latter for its construction technique used and the strong expressiveness of the pentagonal profile.
WHERE THE COMPANY SELLS THE MOST
In 2018, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Spain were confirmed as the top countries in terms of sales of Panzeri products in Europe, while in the Middle Eastern market Kuwait was the novelty.
The American (United States) and the Russian markets continue to successfully complement the European one, by maintaining the level reached in previous years.

In preparation for Euroluce, Panzeri is now working on a product development program designed to meet an increasingly specific market demand. The innovations will pertain the Design collection, both for indoor and outdoor products, and meet the need for flexibility by integrating the Architectural section with new solutions. An important collaboration will be announced soon, confirming the growing interest that the company has for the international design scene.
You just have to wait for the Milan Furniture Fair to discover the details and shapes of these new lighting products.
In the meantime, until January 15 you can visit ‘Le Vie del Compasso d’Oro’, which are itineraries recommended by ADI that helps you find and buy good design products, while having a direct experience of historical and contemporary places related to the prestigious Compasso d’Oro Award. At the Binova showroom (Via Durini 17 corner, Galleria Strasburgo 3) on the map that guides you through this path there is also Panzeri.
