U&S Home, Genoa
U&S Home is a project created by the Architect Andrea Orioli in the early months of 2020 for two customers passionate about art who wanted to give a new look to their home, located on the main floor of a historic palace in the city of Genoa.
The will of the client was to create an entrance that, although without windows, was bright and had great character
The guest who has just entered finds himself facing a wall with boiserie and enriched by two Ypsilon wall lamps by Panzeri which, together with the suspensions, illuminate the room. The choice of this lamp was dictated by its shape and the type of lighting produced that balanced the verticality of the side parts, expanding the chiaroscuro and shadows produced on the boiserie.
The dark blue ceiling, already enriched with original stuccos, has been enhanced by using a Zero Round suspension that recalls its shapes. Le Zero Round in fact takes up the designs of the ceiling and their staggering and gives that sense of artistic freedom, in the rigorous geometry of the ceiling. Its luminous power then allowed to balance the dark color of the ceiling, amplifying the three-dimensionality of the original plaster casts.
